The Sioux , the popular name for Dakota, is a group of Indian tribes
in the Mid-West of the U.S.A., who speak the same language.
Their outfits became representative for what an Indian looks like.
Despite brave resistance (a victorie in 1876 on General Custer in the little
Big-Horn Valley). The different tribes were conquered during the 19th Century,
by the Americans. Since that moment the Sioux live in reservations.
They designed a beautifull Tipi and I use their pattern. They knew how to regulate the temperature within the Tipi, warm enough in the winter and cool in the summer. This has a lot to do with the differnt linings; a Summer-inside and a Winter-inside.

The material I use is mildewproof and of a waterproof
canvas quality. It's weight is 330 grams per square meter.
So a Tipi with a cross section of 22 ft.weights approx.
26 kilograms/ 57 pounds. The Tipicover is delivered with a door, with two wooden
sticks in it.
Ofcourse I can make any size of Tipi
you want!
