Hello, this is the site of Andrej and Andrea Verity.
We were both born and raised in small towns in the
province of Saskatchewan, Canada. After leaving home
we lived in Saskatoon and Calgary, Alberta for a few
years before getting married in the Cook Islands.
With a few family members we wed on the beach of a
tiny uninhabited island in the lagoon of Rarotonga.
A couple of months later Andrea accepted a position
in Manila, Philippines. While we lived and
worked in Manila we were able to travel the country
quite extensively and gather insight into the
culture. Afterwards, we travelled through
several nearby South East Asia countries and then
went to Africa and Europe on a work/pleasure trip.
After all that travelling, we decide to try living in
another country. So, we moved to Wellington, New
Zealand. We found jobs and stayed in New Zealand
until the end of 2002. What a beautiful country!
From New Zealand we moved to North Korea when Andrej
accepted a post with the United Nations. We spent 18 months
in North Korea; certainly an unforgettable experience.
We are now living in New York City, where we are both working for the UN.
