Often times, the kinds of trips that always enrich us, that sometimes surprise us, are those that make us feel alive.
After several years of
receiving guests here at Casaverde, we are certain that the town of TREVELIN
is one of those places that will forever stay in your memory, but more so in
your heart, the kind that will put a smile on your face no matter what when
you'll remember it.
If you have already visited us, you know what we are referring to... and if
you haven't yet, we are waiting for you whenever you do decide to drop by.
Casaverde is not just a hostel, it is also our house, and we take pride
in the fact that we are sharing our house with all those that come to visit
us. Casaverde is a beautiful wooden house perched on a hill overlooking
TREVELIN, right at the foot of the Andes. Although we are located only 400m
from the central town square, the land surrounding the hostel has more of a
rural than an urban feel with it's garden and fruit trees. The mesmerizing view
of mountains and the spectacle of the sunsets will definitely attest to that.
The atmosphere at Casaverde
is very casual. With only four en-suite rooms, we guarantee a personalized attention
and comfortable stay. The living room is an opened and shared area where guests
and our staff often gather for long chats, guitar jamming sessions, or where
a game or challenge is launched. The kitchen and the BBQ area, also at the disposal
of the guests, offer a real taste of what it is to live in Patagonia.
In 2004, we added a lodge to Casaverde with capacity of up to 8 persons.
This new option is especially good for those seeking more privacy. Its large
rooms make it a perfect lodging for a group of fishers or skiers, since it was
specifically designed for those who travel with large amounts of equipment.
Its huge windows and garden area face the Andes so you will not miss a moment
of nature's spectacle. In addition, it has its own BBQ area where your group
can recall the day's events while continuing to enjoy the outdoors.
We welcome all travelers
in our home, whether traveling with kids, with friends, with their partners,
or alone, whether you come from Prague, Beijing or Islamabad, as long as you
are open to cultural exchange and exploration.
Casaverde is part
of the Hostelling International (HI) network, a chain of accommodation with
over 5000 hostels distributed in approximately 60 countries in the world. Created
originally for young people, HI is now at the heart of the international tourism
for ALL. As members of this network, our hostel satisfies the requisites demanded
by the International Youth Hostels Federation (IYHF) on numerous levels, such
as Cleanliness, Privacy, Security and Comfort. In 2003, Casaverde was
honoured to receive the "Quality Award" extended by HI Argentina,
in recognition of the excellence of our hostel which was appraised incognito.
