Abodes of Vishnu

This temple is situated in a village called kattavakkam near Walajabad on Walajabad-Sunguvarchatram Road. About 50 kms from Chennai and 40 kms from Tambaram. This temple is now at present in open ground. This temple was newly consecrated in 2nd May 2007. The Unique features of Moolavar are 1) He is 16 feet tall  2)  He is sitting in Yogapeetam, Sarpapeetam and Koormapeetam with Lakshmi in His left lap, 3) Instead of Conch in His left upper arm, He holds bow and arrow 4) He has the Seven Hoods of Adhisesha  above His head and with Trinetra.
