Both these photos were taken during a 3-1 win over Chipping Norton in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup on 16th February 1980.

I like the penalty photo becaue if you look into the background you catch a glimpse of the old concrete stand that used to tower above you as a full-back, and also in the very far corner of the pitch is the church where all the balls would get kicked into and you'd not be able to get them back as there was barbed wire all over the place.

This photo was taken in 1980, and when the ground got closed down in 1988 it looked exactly the same, nothing had changed for so many years to the place.

Bob Pratley went on to play for Witney, Thame and Banbury (that I know of) and to manage Banbury, Thame and Didcot when he hung up his boots. Of which I played for him for 6 years with Thame and Banbury. Mark Taylor became a regular City keeper if my memory serves me correctly.
